To oink or not to oink.

Okay, so maybe I do, maybe I don’t have the Swine Flu.

I feel better today. But I still have a high temperature. I’m snorting less. (I make all these pig comments to annoy my roommate, a pig farmer who hates that people think that Swine Flu really has anything to do with pigs anymore. He also doesn’t read my blog, so I don’t know why I still make these comments here.)

I couldn’t run a 5k right now or anything, but I could definitely go out and dance in yesterday’s snow. (Oh wait, that’s all melted.) So I guess I’m just left inside, probably doing homework, and questioning the possibility of whether I really have the Swine Flu or not.

[This is me questioning the possibility of whether I really have the Swine Flu or not. See? I'm holding the pig's nose I was wearing in the last post? It's very metaphorical.]

  1. hmmmm....you may never know if it's H1N1 or just a normal flu.

Your pig-snout-on-a-string illustration cracked me up! You're sick AND still maintaining your sense of humor! That's a good thing!

    Keep drinking LOTS of fluids!!

  2. hahaha

    funny picture Brian.

Sorry you missed the concert :(

Hope you get better soon and we will try to set up another outing :)

    Take care of yourself.

  3. i'm so sorry i missed the concert! rob thomas is so much fun to watch perform, and i was really looking forward to hanging out with you! bummer! i promise next time i won't get sick. :)

and wow...what a mix of emoticons on your message! sad, happy. how funny.

and mom, "mama-blogga" may be the funniest/weirdest term you've ever used. :)

and i'm drinking like a fish.

and the sad thing is (and don't think i haven't noticed that i've started the last four sentences with "and") that i just talked to my nursing major Justine, who told me i can't go to school tomorrow because my fever's not gone. all i want to do is go to school! i feel really quite well--well enough to go to class anyway--and i CAN'T because of the stupid fever i have. (i bet you never expected to hear me say "all i want to do is go to school.")

  4. Why thank you! Thank you very much! My "mama-blogga" signature was inspired by Christie's use of blogwords (most recently 'bloggap') and you saying that I'm 'even a mom on blogger'!

    Hence 'mama-blogga' was born! :-)
